Design Details & Material Selection
The centrepiece of this Lambeth bathroom renovation is the generous walk-in shower area fitted with a 300mm overhead rainfall shower head. The frameless glass screen maintains the open-plan feel while the concealed thermostatic valve ensures precise temperature control with every use.
We selected large-format porcelain tiles from Ventures Cera Showroom for both the floor and walls, creating visual continuity that makes the en-suite appear significantly larger than its actual dimensions. The warm grey palette was chosen to complement the brushed chrome fixtures throughout.
The wall-hung vanity unit from Victorian Plumbing was a key design decision. By mounting the unit off the floor, we opened up the floor space visually and made cleaning effortless. The integrated ceramic basin provides clean lines while the soft-close drawers offer practical storage.
Comfort & Practicality
Underfloor heating was installed throughout, eliminating the cold-floor shock common in tiled bathrooms. Combined with the LED mirror cabinet featuring a built-in demister, every detail was considered for daily comfort and convenience. The back-to-wall toilet with concealed cistern further contributes to the clean, uncluttered aesthetic.
